Seville it is an excellent destination for those looking for a Erasmus low cost but high fun. There are at least 5 good reasons to choose this beautiful city, but the same good reasons also apply to those who go there only on vacation:
1. Affordable housing: with 2-300 euros per month you can find a decent single room in 3-person apartments with kitchen and living room, near the center.
2. Low-cost transport: thanks to the bike-sharing you can move almost for free throughout the city without too much effort, in 15 minutes by bike you can cross the historic center. Otherwise, with the bus card, a ride costs only 70 cents.
3. Beer for 1 euro: it is not a dream, but in various places you will find the average beer for 1 euro. Especially look for near the university, where students crowd tables at all hours of the day.
4. Botellon all night and clubs with free access: Seville's nightlife is facilitated by the warm climate, which means that even from March, evenings are spent outdoors with bottles of wine and beers from the supermarket. The places where you dance are mostly free admission, the paid ones have very low costs.
5. Sanctify the holidays: Seville is there homeland of religious holidays and not, without limits of hours, dances and drinks. Between the Semana Santa, a religious festival that often turns into a show and profane entertainment, and the Feria de Abril, with dances until late at night, rivers of rebujito and sevillanas to make your head spin, every month there is a good opportunity because the university is closed and we can fully dedicate ourselves to the party.
THEonly problem of Seville may be the hot, starting in June it can become really unsustainable. Fortunately, the beaches are an hour away, it takes very little to escape the heat and dive into the crystal clear waters of the Cadiz coast.
