A walk through the old town, the clubs, the coves and the boat parties: original activities for your holiday in the beautiful town of Ibiza!
Another round another race, this time in the true sense of the word, to visit a new destination: where have I been? In Ibiza!
Just over 48h was the time I had to do everything I am about to tell you in this very short article.
A premise: to fully enjoy Ibiza and all it has to offer, you would need a 4-5 full days, but this time my time was really short.
But now, without getting lost in other talk, I'm going to give you some tips on Ibiza.
How to reach us
Ibiza can be reached by plane from the main airports and if you are willing to leave at a bit uncomfortable times, the price of a return flight does not exceed € 70 if booked in time.
Accomodation
It depends on your availability.
In general, the price range is not very low, especially if you want to sleep near the center, but if you are willing to get away then the costs go down; sometimes even a lot.
Out of necessity, the undersigned decided to stay near the port, a very central area and a little less low cost, but my Boutique Hotel Ryans La Marina had a pretty good offer: € 209 in a single room with air conditioning and all comforts for 2 nights.
In general, the average is about € 50/60 per night in the center, especially if you manage to book your accommodation in time by taking advantage of some opportunities (which, as you may have guessed, I did not).
What to do in Ibiza
Leaving aside the nightlife, of which you can all imagine the glories (no limits and no stop parties for all tastes), I would like to talk to you about something else. Here are three tips to fully enjoy your holiday in Ibiza.
1. Visit to the old city
Starting from the port, walk through the narrow streets of the city made up of shops, clubs and boutiques; from here you will find one of the entrances that will take you to the upper part of Ibiza in the direction of the castle.
In the streets of the old part, you will be captivated by an unusual charm.
The chaos seen previously will gradually diminish, so you will be able to better enjoy the walk and above all the view.
Among the many clubs, bars, restaurants and glimpses of the sea that you will find along your path, I would like to recommend a place.
I don't know for sure if it's one of the best, but I found it very welcoming and quaint.
The venue in question is S'Escalinada.
Characteristic of this little place is its development along a staircase.
Here, sitting on poufs that adapt to the curves of the staircase, you can drink something fresh or enjoy something good to eat.
If, on the other hand, you are a lover of luxury boats and a little more chic places, the Blue Marlin is the place for you.
Walking along the quay of the port you will arrive at the Blue Marlin, restaurant / bar with a splendid view of the town of Ibiza, behind which truly luxurious boats are parked.
2. The sea and the coves
There are quite a few places to go in Ibiza and among these there are obviously the coves overlooking the sea.
You can find them at 15-20 minutes from the city center and you can choose whether to reach them by car, taxi or bus (with the bus the time goes up a bit given the stops).
The waters surrounding Ibiza are stunning; you certainly will not be able to give up a bath.
On the other hand, I missed the coves, but since mine was a flash visit, I could only select some destinations (alas the coves were not among them).
3. Boat parties not to be missed
If you are tired of the usual disco parties, then this is the right opportunity to orient yourself towards those on a boat.
Something different from this point of view offers it Cirque de La Nuit Ibiza.
In fact, by contacting them, you will have the opportunity to experience 3 hours of party and entertainment on the boat, with the possibility of a stop for a swim.
The price of the boat party package is 89 € and includes, in addition to sunset boat party, also: 1 pool party; 1 beach party; 4 entrances to 4 different clubs in Ibiza.
A tip: how and when to visit Ibiza
The best time to visit Ibiza goes from April to September.
Alone, as a couple or with friends, Ibiza is a destination that is well suited to most of the experiences you are looking for while traveling (fun, sun, sea, parties, excursions and much more).
