La ruta del Poble sec: cheap beer and tapa

La ruta del Poble sec: cheap beer and tapa

Poble Sec it could become two things: the new hipster quarter or the new Raval. But after years of predictions and false beginnings, it has become just what it is: a multicultural neighborhood, where it's easy to see artists, green-tie real estate agents, Caribbean hairdressers, fruit-selling Pakistanis, and all-fruit families.

So what better option for a Thursday afternoon, after a boring day at the office, to go to Calle Blai and switch bars with two euros (or maybe a little more) having a beer and a tapa in exchange and enjoying the babel of languages, sounds and colors?

Here this is it rue del Poble Sec and this is it Barcelona. The sun returns, the via crucis begins to find a free table on a terrace, spring begins and soon summer will also arrive. We can not wait!
