Do you also dream of going to Polynesia? Here's what to do in this natural paradise, between relaxation, sporting and adventurous activities.
Expanses of white sand, colors that mix with each other. The green of the vegetation and the blue of the crystalline waters up to the thousand shades of flowers, this is the Polynesia.
Made up of 118 more or less large islands, Polynesia is a destination chosen by many to make their dream trip come true.
In fact it is not a low cost destination, but choosing the right flights and booking in one guest house it will not be impossible to face this journey. When we talk about Polynesia, we immediately think of relaxation and the sea. However, we must consider that on the Polynesian islands it is possible to do various activities such as: excursions in the hinterland, snorkeling, diving and swimming with sharks and rays and much more.
What to do while traveling in Polynesia
Snorkeling in Polynesia is really fascinating, during my trip I was at Coral Garden of Bora Bora. A wonderful experience, I highly recommend it. Butterfly fish, trumpet fish and parrot fish, but also corals and morays. To complete the circle, the inscription stands out on the 5 meters deep sandy bottom of the Coral Garden ❤ love Bora.
Perfect for taking a photo.
On many islands it is possible to rent bicycles, or different vehicles such as quads, motorcycles and off-road vehicles with which you can explore the hinterland of the mountainous islands. My advice, in this case, is to rely on an expert local guide. The latter will be able to lead you along the less traveled paths without running any risk.
A Tahiti for example, it is possible to reach the top of the Mount Marau and then continue on foot along the mountain paths. Reaching the viewpoint of the island you can enjoy a panoramic view. Otherwise, a Moorea with a few minutes by car you can make excursions to Afareaitu waterfalls, make the crossing from Go a Pao Pao.
If you want to relax I recommend the Tropical Garden. It is a botanical garden that is worth at least a visit if you are passing through Moorea. Here there is a kiosk serving smoothies of pineapple, papaya and other exotic fruits and excellent jams are on sale. Here it is then possible to take a walk inside the vanilla crops and among the banana trees.
Many Polynesian hospitality establishments organize children daily tours. On these tours it is possible to visit different islands of the archipelago. Often in this case a typical lunch based on tuna, coconut and other exotic fruits is offered.
For those who prefer a longer excursion, motor boats can be rented for a weekend or a few days. You are spoiled for choice.
