Carrer Bonavista is one of the roads that allows access to neighborhood of Gracia. The one where I live and one of my absolute favorites in Barcelona. But despite this, one of the neighborhoods with the worst gastronomic offer in the city. Many restaurants but with little quality.
Not to mention the absence of San Antoni-style coolness which now seems to have taken over. Not a day goes by without hearing about the opening of a new bar where do brunch e drink spritz.
Criticism aside, I wanted to tell you that months ago, accompanied by a friend who has his beautiful shop in that street, I came across the "Bodega Bonavista", which is nothing but awine shop run by a sympathetic Norwegian boy and with a small little room where you can make a wine or a beer.
Chris, also offers appetizers in the form of Spanish and French cheeses, sausages, olives and companions.
Spartan, nice, with a good selection of wines and with an innkeeper who knows them well and can always recommend the right glass. La Bodega also offers a wide range selection of beers produced in Spain, with beautiful vintage bottles.
Long live the simplicity!
