If there is a place where a Spaniard has eaten at least once in their life, it is VIPS. Yes, this chain of Spanish restaurants makes everyone agree. His international dishes leave you spoiled for choice: rice bowls with chicken or salmon in an oriental style, sandwiches with customizable burgers (try those with huevo frito, fried egg), focaccia, sandwiches, salads.

In the center of Madrid they are almost at every corner, one was recently inaugurated in Puerta del Sol. Of all these, however, the most suitable for families is the one found in Calle Fuencarral 101.

The area features wooden games that seem to be from another era and two child-sized touchscreens that contain lots of coloring images that blow the imagination, just select the right age and go. In addition, this restaurant, which seems like a paradise for parents, offers a microwave to heat baby bottles and baby food and a menu for children that includes a choice of first course, drink and dessert. Each child is given crayons and coloring drawings, balloons or chupa-chups. In short, the surprises never end. Your little ones will certainly not be bored and you can finally finish a dish without listening to the desperate screams of your child who does not want to sit.
Each of the rooms, then, has a changing table and high chair available. So there is everything that mums and dads want when they go out for lunch or dinner. And if your children are already teenagers, there is the Free WIFI and tables with chargers, they will surely thank you.
Great low cost food
The prices are absolutely reasonable, you can order a dish and a drink for 15 euros and in addition they offer you the possibility to refill the glass as many times as you want, without limits! And for lovers of healthy food there are also dishes to stay in shape, such asAguacate toast, a toast with avocado and scrambled eggs, feta cheese and dried tomatoes, absolutely delicious! Then there are the gluten-free, available for both adults and children. One of the things not to be missed, however, are the Pancakes, which are nothing more than soft and warm pancakes with the scent of butter accompanied by a cloud of cream and a covering of chocolate or caramel. To be ordered together with one of the many milkshakes.
For me it was love at first sight, VIPS immediately became my favorite place in Madrid.
