THEGranada airport (GRX), officially named Aeropuerto Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén, is located 15 kilometers west of the city center in the area known as Vega del Genil, the plain of the river of the same name.
The airport is served mainly by domestic flights, the main destinations are Madrid and Barcelona, but the airport is rapidly expanding towards the international market thanks to low cost airlines.
The airport has several agencies car rent and this allows you to move freely to discover the province of Granada thanks to the A92, the main access road that continues to Seville, and the A44, which leads south towards the coast. The airport can also be reached by public transport and by taxi.
