Monte Carlo is one of the four traditional neighborhoods of Principality of Monaco, it borders with France e Italy and is famous for casinos, skyscrapers, luxury, beaches and the Grand Prix which takes place right in the city streets: a narrow and steep track, considered one of the most dangerous. There are many famous people who decide to live in the principality.
Monte Carlo, however, is not just luxury and casino; there are many places of historical, cultural and environmental interest that are sometimes forgotten.
In a day in the city there are many possibilities to enjoy these aspects to the fullest.

On the second floor, suspended 85 meters above the sea level, there is a terrace with a view and a restaurant.
2. Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
A few minutes walk away is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. The principal place of worship in the Principality, stands on the remains of a church dating back to 1252.

Continuing, moving away from the sea, it is a must to visit the Palace of the Princes (Palazzo Grimaldi): official residence of the Prince of Monaco, founded in 1191; it stands on the remains of an ancient Genoese fortress and with its majesty dominates the port.
The entrance includes a staircase of Carrara marble from 1600, while the interior of the building can be visited only in summer with a path inside through various rooms that retrace the events of the principality.
Every morning at 11.55 in the courtyard is held the ceremony of changing of the guard.
4. Old town of Munich
At the foot of Palazzo Grimaldi lies the old town of Monaco, rich in history and fascinating views; attracts tourists with its narrow streets, typical shops, pastry shops and restaurants.
5. Exotic Garden
Don't miss the Exotic Garden, a 20-minute walk from the palace, in the heart of Monaco. This is a green area to relax and explore. It collects a huge variety of succulents from Africa, the United States, Mexico, South America, the Arabian Peninsula ...
