This winter my boyfriend and I took an amazing trip to beautiful Cuba.
We booked the trip from the internet.
After 11 hours of flight we land atSanta Clara airport and immediately we feel the temperature difference on the skin.
We started from Rome with only 5 ° and in Cuba there will have been at least 26/28 °.
All projects customs, for the control of passports and visa, we have to queue up a bit and answer the most varied questions… but oh well, in the end we are on vacation.
We leave with the bus that will take us to our village and along the way we enjoy some of the splendid Cuba (the journey took about an hour and a half): very green, many plantations of coffee, tobacco ... everything makes us think that time has stopped in the 60s / 70s.
To get to ours Sol Cayo Santa Maria we have to travel an embankment of about 40 km in the middle of the ocean and we immediately notice the beauty of the place, still not reached by mass tourism in fact we discover that there are only two villages, both managed by Eden Viaggi (our operator in fact).
We have done many excursions, the most varied and I highly recommend trying these unique experiences.

Finally, I was able for the first time to see dolphins in freedom: during the catamaran excursion they accompanied us for a few km of navigation and they are beautiful and nice ... but they never got too close, they weren't the usual dolphins trained to make you bathe with them.
What else to say ... ... the beach of our village was made of micro-particles of shells, beautiful, because they don't stick too much to your skin, and then the sea ... fabulous, green, blue, turquoise, blue ... all the shades you want.
Holidays in Cuba: what to see and what to do absolutelyThe most beautiful beach we saw was that of Megano, still wild, no straw umbrellas, all very natural, and in fact we got burned .... on the shore we also saw the usual barracudas, groupers, etc .... in short, everything was fabulous.
We were accompanied to the coral reef to snorkel and someone even saw the manta ray .... too bad I wasn't there at the time.
