La subway station of Foggy Bottom, located on the campus of George Washington University, is served by the Blue, Orange and Silver metro lines. From Foggy Bottom with a short walk of about 10-15 minutes on foot, you reach the White House and the National Mall.

The area has no metro stops within its boundaries, but there are several surrounding the relatively small neighborhood, and the area is well served by other types of public transport.
