If you are looking for a cheap place to stay sleeping in Budapest, without completely renouncing comfort and aesthetic sense, then the Maverick hostel right for you. Housed in a beautiful palace built by the Habsburg dynasty, the hostel has a central position and strategic, which allows you to reach almost all the main tourist attractions of the city without the need for transport.
It is made up of several types of rooms (double or dorm rooms), all with private bathrooms equipped with towels. Our room, for five people, was spacious and clean and the staff were attentive and kind enough in a town where most of us seemed quite rude. In the common area: kitchen with two refrigerators, television with a small one DVD collection and 3 computers connected to the internet.
They do not accept credit card payments and can arrange a service if you ask pick up at the airport (convenient if you are traveling in small groups of 4/5 people).
