When you think of a pastry shop, can you imagine it as a jewelry store? Well, I do, and it happens to me every time I cross the threshold of the pastry shop Roberto Rinaldini in Rivabella di Rimini.
Rinaldini, from Rimini, is one of the best known pastry chefs in Italy. So a jump to him is a must. It is no coincidence that if you want to visit the home page of the website you will notice the word Luxury. However, it is a pastry shop for all budgets, of course, but if you are looking for something more daring, more particular, that sensational innovation in the field of pastry, here ... you are in the right place. I was running, but as soon as I noticed it I stopped to take a whim.
Looking at the huge counter you will be spoiled for choice. This time I tasted four macarons, certainly not an innovation as a product in itself, but a very particular taste experience for lovers of this kind of pastry, especially if one of these is at saffron risotto. You read that right. At the first taste a whole plate of risotto was revealed to me. Accompanying it all with a decidedly quality coffee macchiato, I would have stopped there. But now three more were waiting for me guided mostly by the chromatic variety of these macarons: one with raspberries, one with pistachio from Bronte and one with 70% chocolate. What do I do? Do I leave them there? Never. What can I say, I'm okay for at least a month, but it's an experience that, if they are in Rimini, I recommend that lovers of particular sweets do. Each macaron costs one euro.
