For a few days I have been intending to go to Berlin for a short weekend in the German capital. Looking for accommodation, I realized that often the hostels are the best solutions for i penniless young people like me. But this is not the news.
La news is that these hostels, in addition to being cheap and central, are increasingly endowed with the latest charm and design. The hostel that most convinced me is theEast Seven Hostel, is located near the U-Bahn station, has a small communal kitchen with dishwasher and aretro atmosphere. The beds are in pine and the rooms are bright and welcoming. The cost is really minimal, so much so that for a double it costs from 20 to 25 euros, for a bed in a room of 8 from 13 to 17 €.
The other accommodation that struck me a lot but which is not entirely low cost is the Propeller Island City Lodge. The hotel offers 45 unique rooms that open to the traveler a different and surreal world. Visit the site and you will understand what I am talking about, in the portal all the rooms can be visited. Here you can sleeping in a coffin, in a suspended bed or be catapulted into a magical world. The cost per room per night varies from 80 to 115 euros, as I said not exactly low cost, but if you want to exaggerate for once, it is really worth it.
