Robert Doisneau with Paris en liberté is an exhibition that takes place at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome from 29 September 2012 until 3 February 2013 in Rome.
Over 200 original photographs, shot by Doisneau in the Ville Lumière between the 1934 and the 1991 and grouped thematically retracing the subjects most dear to him, are exhibited in a large anthological review that will be set up at Palazzo delle Esposizioni. The favorite subject of his black and white photographs, are in fact the Parisians: women, men, children, lovers, animals and their way of experiencing this timeless city.
Author of a large number of works, mainly on Paris, Doisneau became the most illustrious representative of "humanist" photography in France. His images are now preserved in the largest collections in France, the United States and Great Britain and are exhibited all over the world. On the initiative of the Province of Milan the exhibition will be then set up in Milan at the Spazio Oberdan from the February 15 to the 1 May 2013.
Il full ticket has a cost of € 12,50, the reduced € 10. L'Schedule of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni runs from Tuesday to Thursday from 10 to 20, while on Friday and Saturday from 10 to 22.30, on Sunday from 10 to 20 and on Monday it is closed.
