The last weekend spent in Rome I was a guest at the b & b Six Beds a very nice place three streets behind the Termini station of the Capital. The hostel was recommended to me by Laura from Hostelbookers and I must say that I was not at all disappointed.
As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Max, very kind owner who after showing me the room and the house and giving me the keys has me shown all over Rome. Map in hand sitting on the kitchen table showed me all best places of Rome, from the best known to the gems of the capital. To each of my questions he always answered very interested and exhaustively.
He suggested me the various bus lines to take, the metro and timetables, all written on the map. Then we got a bit lost and he told me about the history of Rome, the palaces and the places up to Ostia. I was curious, he explained. A beautiful start :)
In the b & b there is the Wireless, which is no small feat and the kitchen it is available to all "roommates". In addition to mine chamber two more, I had the private bathroom and a little one balcony plus a ceiling fan. In short, the b & b seemed clean and welcoming. The only drawback, despite being on the fifth floor street noise you can hear it in the morning, so if you are a light sleeper you are likely to hear it, even if the location is very convenient for someone like me, in the morning had to take a train at 5.40 -.- '
