An economical way to see Riga from above is to go to the Skyline. The skyline is located on the 27th floor of theLatvjia hotels which is located in the center, in Elisabetes iella 55. The Hotel is part of the Radisson Blu chain and is really beautiful.
To enter the hotel you do not need to say anything and at the entrance you will find the indications to go up up to the top floor and enjoy the view. L'lift it is made of glass so that as you go up you can admire the view or make a video, which I couldn't do :(
The entrance to the top floor coast type 2 lat not a lot to tell the truth. The entrance, as I read in the guide, also gives you access to hotel bar where you can get something while admiring the view. Unfortunately, however, I don't know the prices of the bar as I stopped earlier.
There is possibility in fact to admire Riga from above too without logging in directly to the bar. From a huge window in fact you can take great photos, like this one above, without spending anything. If you don't need to stop for something to eat or drink, this is one great trick ^ _ ^
