Assuming that I love winter, snow and cold immensely, the spring in New York it's another wonderful season. In the end which is not in this beautiful city?
1. Shortly i will restart free yoga classes on the beach in Coney Island at sunset and after taking a swim for New Year's I would say that soon you can also go for a swim without too much fear of leaving your feathers. Put away socks, woolen sweaters and furs but don't forget that March is crazy and let's also put April on windy months so undress but relatively. Central Park is no longer in shades of brown or snow white but the flowers begin to bloom again and everything is colored with white pink, yellow, sweet chirps and fluffy squirrels in search of peanuts, and during a long walk you can smell millions of smells that will give you indelible sensations in the soul and always surrounded by the immensity of the skyscrapers you can relax on the fresh grass, take off your shoes and why not have a little pretty woman picnic.
2. Once the frost is over, New York is back in the movies, where hundreds of people wait their turn at the traffic lights to cross, people who prefer to two steps in the open air rather than in an underground subway or in a taxi in traffic. In April the Luna Park of Coney Island another place for young and old where you can spend an afternoon of fun between the Cyclone and a romantic Ferris wheel and also good food with Nathan's and his historic Hot Dog or a fish fritter. And for the nostalgic despite the sun starting to be felt for another month, you can enjoy an ice skating at Rockefeller Center or Bryant Park.
3. We see that the warm season arrives when Mr. Softy travels back to the streets that's the name of the ice cream van that travels all over New York with a little music (which for some reason reminds me of HIT the clown) on the loudspeaker announcing that American soft ice cream has arrived. Travel at a walking pace, you will see children running after him to get one while continuing to play and adults while continuing to read the newspaper. It sells the classic American ice cream that comes out of the machine and forms a spiral at least 10cm long.
4. Some bars and restaurants return to put i tables outside and to remove the warming mushrooms and blankets provided while drinking an iced coffee becomes a pleasure as well as a need.
5. One thing definitely worth seeing this season from the end of March onwards is definitely the Brooklyn Botanic Garden composed of thousands of plants of different origins. Among the most beautiful and unusual parts, surely the Japanese garden with Cherry blossoms and a refined architecture original of Japanese culture.
