The third day at Nordic Bloggers Experience di Helsinki begins with the transfer to the new hotel reserved for us, the Radisson Blu Seaside. The program of the day is very intense and leave your bags we must arrive at the Flight Academy of the Finnish airline Finnair. Waiting for us are other fellow bloggers returning from Lapland and 'Aku', head of social media at Finnair.
At 12 precisely it is our turn in the flight simulator, an impressive machine that made us understand even better in person what are the numerous instruments that a pilot must always have under control. It was a very intense and charged fifteen minutes.
Immediately after we leave for the Messukeskus, the Helsinki exhibition center where Matka, Nordic Travel Fair takes place. Welcomed by the staff of Matka, Visit Finland and City of Helsinki we had the opportunity to participate in several meetings between Scandinavian bloggers and tour operators, where moments of humor were fortunately not lacking.
The highlight of the day was then the move to the exclusive club Seura sauna, where we had the opportunity to try the Finnish sauna and understand how important it is in the culture of this people. The most daring, including us, identified so much that they decided to dive into the nearby frozen river where a large hole had been made. The managers of the ceramic design industry are also waiting for us in the large wooden room Arabia Iittala who gave us the cups we decorated on the first day in Helsinki and cooked in their ovens the same night.
Three hours spent alone with a towel around the waist, in front of a lit fire and holding a long spit with which to cook Finnish wurstel (makkara), sipping beer. As our companions told us, this is the best way to experience the sauna in the Finnish way and it is an experience that every tourist should try at least once in his life.
