Moving around the city will cost you very little, thanks to the omnipresent "motortaxi" and to move around the country there are excellent buses to reach all the nerve centers. You can opt for the elegant capital Hanoi, or for the glowing Ho Chi Minh City, famous for its nightlife. I am writing to you from here: I just moved there and I assure you that it's a great place!
Chaotic, colorful and full of life - but still relaxed and enjoy it - Ho Chi Minh City is full of great ones restaurants where you eat very well spending very little, and there is an endless choice of places to drink or listen to music. In the center, in District 1, you will find a host of bar serving the mythical Saigon beer local at 10000 VND (less than 50 cents of euros!) very popular with both tourists and locals.
The streets of the city are very lively, crammed with bicycles and scooters whizzing in all directions, street vendors ready to cook all kinds of local delicacies, for really ridiculous prices. Also here in District 1, you will find many Guesthouses where to sleep well spending less than 15 € per day for one room double with conditioned air.
Now, one straight for what concerns the sore point: the price of the plane ticket! The Air company Emirates has great flights on offer to fly from Milan Malpensa a Ho Chi Minh City in February: at Carnival you fly to 731 euros a / r, all inclusive.
