Ma where to sleep in Amman paying little? There are so many solutions available, it all depends on the spirit of adaptation and the needs of the traveler. With Airbnb you could have incredible experiences, given the great hospitality of the Jordanian people, while if you are young and without many pretensions, youth hostels can be for you. In this case, however, I propose to you two hotels very different both by type and by location, but both extremely cheap.
Cliff Hotel
Il Cliff Hotel is an inconspicuous structure, wedged in the middle of the Mango souk, the clothing market of the capital. It is both a hotel and a hostel, but in any case, 10 € will be enough to spend a night in this structure. The location is the main asset of the Cliff: in downtown Amman, it is located exactly below the Citadel and a few steps from the Roman theater.
Opposite the hotel is one of the favorite restaurants of the Amman population, Hashem. Completely vegetarian, there you can enjoy an excellent hummus accompanied by its renowned falafel. The Cliff Hotel is the perfect solution for groups of friends, young couples and lone travelers, while it is not recommended for families, especially with small children. There is no option of a breakfast, but you will never fail to share hot tea with the receptionist.

Caravan Hotel
If you are looking for a more comfortable and "western" accommodation, then there is the Caravan Hotel. A night costs around € 60 depending on the time of year, the rooms are comfortable and the staff helpful and kind. This is the right choice for families and for those who want some extra comfort, including a mixed continental and Jordanian breakfast that will give you the right energy to face the day. The Caravan Hotel is located near the King Abdullah I Mosque, close to Al Abdali station, while the city center is a 20 minute walk or even shorter taxi ride.
