The idea came from one designer couple from Barcelona, Eva and Agusti who had already experienced home swapping with not always happy results; the site has been online for a few months and already has numerous members from all over the world. The home exchange mechanism is known, each of the two partners goes to the other's house at the same time for a holiday at no cost, but the difference is that you can join this network by invitation only: this avoids nasty surprises and above all it guarantees to find an apartment or house that meets expectations. Behomm is not looking for luxury homes, but stylish homes. It is very different.
The system runs an application for invite friends to join Behomm; registration has a cost of 95 euro a year, the only expense you will have for an unlimited home exchange.
