Pizza from the Hall it is the fulcrum of Pistoia's nights and especially in summer it is a valid meeting point: outdoor tables in small squares and a quiet atmosphere for both aperitifs and after dinner. Saturday night I tried the aperitif at Art Workshop, in the communicating Piazzetta dell'Ortaggio. The place is small, but we sat outside and the waiter, very nice, recommended two glasses of Barco Reale of Carmignano (an excellent red wine produced in the surroundings).
In addition to bringing us a plate of fries and sausage, he invited us to refuel at buffet set up inside. There was a lot of choice: spelled salad, beans all'uccelletta, sandwiches stuffed with different types of sauce, cold cuts, arancini, panzerotti. In short, there was no need to remain on an empty stomach! The cost per person was 5€ and the Bottega immediately became one of my favorite aperitif places.
