Il International Ice Festival takes place in Jerusalem between February 20 and April 30. The Festival is suitable for children and adults because it offers not only fun, adrenaline and laughter, but also moments of inspiration and relaxation.
With a internal temperature of 10 ° C, the old station in Jerusalem has been transformed into a giant ice city, one of the largest, most complicated and intriguing installations ever made in Israel. Dozens of builders, engineers, artists and sculptors gathered to take part in the tour de force that gave life to this splendid installation, a celebration of art, ice, the city of Jerusalem and the human imagination.
Hundreds of tons of blocks of ice they have been transported here and modeled in fantastic and historical forms, following the historical lines of Jerusalem, the walls of the Old City and the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo. Visitors will be able to rediscover the stories and fairy tales of their childhood, such as Cindirella, snow-white and The Seven Dwarfs, but for adults it is possible to return to the world of adults with a glass at the internal bar.
