Ice rinks in Paris

Ice rinks in Paris

The beautiful city of Paris under Christmasif possible, it becomes even more beautiful. I still remember when I saw the Champs-Élysées illuminated for the first time and I still remember my amazement at seeing all those lights, all that snow and the shops that invited me to enter. Paris is beautiful and at Christmas there is no doubt, it is even more so.

Ice skating at the Hôtel de Ville

If you are planning a weekend a Paris and it is not the first time that you want to visit the city and want to try something new, I recommend you try the ice skating rinks. On the square ofHôtel de Ville it is possible to skate with free admission and skate rental at the price of 5 €.

The skating rink opens on 21 December 2013 and closes on 2 March 2014. Open from Monday to Friday from 12 to 22, on Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays from 9 to 22.

Skating on the Champs-Elysées

Skating on the Champs-Elysées is an amazing idea. The ice surface is 1875 square meters, and the compound offers a 20 meter wide course that winds over 60 km.

The skating rink opens November 15th 2013 and closes January 5th 2014. On these dates it is open from 10.30, to get directly by subway you can get off at the Franklin Roosevelt stop and the price to skate here is € 10 for adults and € 12 for children under 8 years old.

Skating at the Trocadero

One of the most romantic things to do is undoubtedly skate in Paris at the Trocadero, looking at the Eiffel Tower in front of you, perhaps illuminated because it is evening. I highly recommend this skating rink also because it is much less expensive than the one on the Champs-Elysées even if it is certainly very crowded.

The ice rink opens on 12 December 2013 and closes on 5 January 2014.
Every opening day from 11 to 20 you can skate in this beautiful place and the stop to get there that I recommend is Trocadero. Access is free but rental skates cost € 5.
