What to see in Saint Tropez, France, the five things to do and where to go for a low cost but still very interesting and fun trip, read here.
La little Saint Tropez I visited it a few years ago, when I was still a kid and I didn't see things with the same eyes that today allow me to become passionate about the landscape or the buildings that decorate many cities. My luck is, however, that even then I had a great memory and this allows me to remember that incredible one glimpse of the sea from which it was possible to see the beautiful blue sky that is in the summer and the large moored boats that undoubtedly attract even the little ones. In addition to being one of the most beautiful cities on the French Riviera, it is also the French capital of nightlife summer.
The locals
Being a kid when I visited the city in the evening, I could not spend the night dancing in the discos or clubs, but I can very well say that even a 12/13 year old boy has fun and is fascinated by the lights of the clubs, the music and from the festive atmosphere in the city. Here, in what may seem a quiet seaside town, the night, the streets, squares and beaches transform the city into the center of numerous premises, discotheques e parties on the sand which close in the morning, just the time to go to the accommodation and put on the swimsuit to go back to the beach and enjoy one of the typical days of sun, blue sky and clear sea.
Beaches
The beaches are also one of the reasons that make the city so full of charm; charm that strikes anyone, in fact it is a holiday destination frequented by people from every city in the world, even VIPs, just think that in the summertime the population in Saint Tropez increases by 10 times. On the beaches there is also the possibility to book diving, to do water ski or other activities. The beach, perhaps the most famous of Saint Tropez, is located 5 kilometers from the city, namely the Pampelomme Beach, characterized by fine white sand, typical of tropical islands.
The streets and alleys
If after a morning spent at the sea you want to visit the area, the streets and the numerous alleys they are very attractive and personally remind me a lot of those of the Ligurian villages such as Santa Margherita, Porto Fino or Camogli. Do not fear the heat because they are scattered throughout the city, bars and clubs, some even equipped with terraces overlooking the sea where you can enjoy shade, sea and, why not, an ice cream. For the more curious, being also famous thanks to the VIPs, in the city it is possible to observe the luxurious villas of famous people.
The port
Being one touristic city and very popular with wealthy people, the port is a real boat show where it is possible to admire every type of boat, from the typical sailboat, to yacht with helicopter landing pad. I really recommend visiting it, just to feast your eyes.
The places of art
One thing to visit, they are the places where the works of art were born depicting the city or inspired by it, because they give an idea of the beauty of this city. Without a doubt Saint Tropez is full of these places, like the glimpse from which Paul Signac, was inspired to create Le port de Saint-Tropez or the point from which the sea was portrayed from Renoir in St. Tropez.
