The most romantic city in the world, Paris, is also often referred to as the most expensive in the world, or one of the most expensive in the world. Where to sleep for a vacation in Paris? We recommend a studio in Montmartre for only 48 € per night.
The site of Airbnb it has really nice and eye-catching graphics, it's done really well. After entering the search references, in the next window you can choose whether to search between apartments / rooms to share (certainly cheaper, but not suitable for everyone!) Or whether to rent an entire apartment (certainly better).
Each solution has one detailed sheet filled in by the owner indicating the services offered, the conditions provided, the availability calendar, description and photos of the accommodation. For each apartment there are i feedback of those who have already been guests, essential to orient themselves in the choice. Each owner has his own profile with photo and brief description, a nice idea to know who is hosting us and see what he looks like.
In my case, I booked one studio in the Montmartre district, a few steps from the Sacred Heart and the Anvers, Abesses and Pigalle metro stops. The choice of the apartment was certainly positive. First of all for the position. The neighborhood, as is well known, is really characteristic and suggestive: small shops, boulangeries, bars, restaurants, in every street there is always something interesting where you can stop to peek or taste something. I point out the boulangerie-bistrot Coquelicot at 24 rue des Abesses a stone's throw from the wall of the "I love you“, Perfect with all its delights for breakfast, lunch or any snack.
The proximity to the metro stops have certainly made getting around very easy. The apartment is about 20sqm, it is al ground floor of a typical building of the area. Has a small kitchenette with electric hob and microwave and refrigerator. The small bathroom, but new and functional. The living area consists of a comfortable sofa bed, table with chairs, a wardrobe and TV. The furnishings make the studio really welcoming. For short stays it is really recommended!
Among other things, the Montmartre area is one of the best to start your holiday from here, to reach every corner of the city. Also if you are a romantic every evening and every morning you will have beautiful views from the top of the most romantic city in the world - some say even more than Venice. If you don't know the Montmartre district and you want to find out later, this accommodation is more than perfect.
The price I paid is 48 € per night plus a small fee for the practice at airbnb (about € 17). Finally, another important aspect, the owner of the house, Marie. Really nice and helpful. There it has followed before and during the trip by e-mail and by phone, always responding very quickly! Speaks in English, so convenient for those who don't want to try too hard with phrasebooks and dictionaries! Marie was a really great hostess.
