Not the usual burger but a "gourmet burger"Exquisite and unique. I happened to eat this delight on my last trip to Paris; accomplice of so much goodness Blend, a recently opened lively venue on Rue D 'Argout.
This narrow and short street is a place where trendy Parisians love to spend their time and where a local can definitely set the trend. It is in fact the case of Blend, a small place where you can eat hamburgers prepared with freshly baked sandwiches and minced meat from a very famous Parisian butcher. Furnished in a simple but elegant way with tables and small stools, the restaurant has just 24 seats. Everything is studied in detail like the container of fried potatoes which has the same shape as the steel basket for frying. Everything on the menu is homemade: the bread, the sauces for the potatoes, as well as the veal cut with a knife.
My sandwich, it Smoke, it was incredibly soft and all the ingredients blended with the meat, not too compact, giving back a delicate and tasty flavor. The price of all sandwiches is 10 €, with the possibility of choosing the "Menu" option, which includes sandwich + potatoes + drink, from 15 €. Blend has had such an explosion that, in less than a year of activity, the "Hamburger Gourmet" cookbook, published by the owner of the well-known restaurant, was also created in a deluxe version (bound in wood and in a limited edition), for Colette , the famous “cult” shop on the luxurious Rue Saint-Honorée.
I can absolutely say that Blend was a pleasant discovery: the supposed best burger in Paris really lives up to all expectations.
For those in Paris this "gourmet paradise" is a highly recommended stop. Etienne Marcel neighborhood, 44 rue d'Argout.
