Low cost pizza in the Treviso area

I was in Soligo for a weekend stroll in the Venetian countryside: the town is well suited as a stopping point, as it is located halfway between Treviso and Belluno, very close to Vittorio Veneto and Valdobbiadene. I was accompanied to the pizzeria Agli Angeli restaurant from a friend who knows the area well and in fact, alone, I would never have chosen this place for dinner: it remains a bit hidden in a rather dark and desolate parking lot. You change your mind as soon as you cross the threshold, because the furnishings and living room are well-kept. The environment is bright and the chairs, lamps and milk-colored tablecloths make the atmosphere elegant. Everything is very simple but nothing seems to be left to chance; an example is the ceiling: a beautiful play of light wooden beams and spotlights characterizes the pizzeria.

Very suitable both for families and for dinners several with friends, Agli Angeli offers a very varied menu: from meat dishes to fish, from pizzas to local specialties. There are also the dishes of the day, prepared with fresh and local products. The night I went, I was lucky enough to be able to choose one yummy pizza with porcini mushrooms Seasonal. The topping is very rich and getting to finish the pizza has become a challenge, even for a good fork like me. The choice of desserts is also excellent: a very long list suitable for even the most demanding palates.

The service wasn't slow considering it was a Saturday night and the venue was packed with people. The waitress took care to serve the children first and was very helpful with any requests. The biggest surprise came when paying: less than 15 euros each. Considering the quality of the dishes and the atmosphere of the pizzeria, the price was really more than fair. A place that I will remember for my next trips to Veneto.
