London Eye in London, a huge Ferris wheel to have a 360 degree panorama over the city of London.
Il London Eye, the London Eye, is a Ferris wheel built in 1999 and opened to the public in March 2000. High 135 meters the London Eye has become the most popular paid attraction in the UK.
The lighting was redone with LEDs in 2009 to allow digital control of the lights instead of manually replacing the gel on the fluorescent tubes. The total steel weight of the Eye is 1.700 tons, with 32 nacelles, each of 25 people of capacity.
The London Eye is not an essential experience to do in London, I know many people who have been to this beautiful city several times but have never been on it. It is not essential, but in my opinion it is one piacevole sorpresa which I recommend at least once.
Getting to the London Eye is very simple, theattraction is located at Westminster Bridge Road even if you just get off at Westminster tube and you will see the beautiful wheel up there. As for the times from September to December the London Eye is open from 10am to 20.30pm, December 24th from 10am to 17pm, December 30st from 31am to 10pm, other days it is open every day from 15am to 10pm.
