If you want to treat yourself to a lunch with all the trimmings in the beautiful Florentine capital, I recommend this restaurant which is really worth.
Is called Osteria Da Ganino and is located in Piazza De Cimatori 4r, in the center of Florence, a stone's throw from Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi. I was there a few weeks ago precisely because I wanted to give myself a day dedicated to relaxation and to my and other people's palates. I had selected it by doing a search of reviews that turned out to be more than truthful. The restaurant is small, welcoming, with an outdoor terrace, and always full of customers from the area, a guarantee of its quality. The staff are friendly and really nice and give that extra to the overall atmosphere.
The food served is typical of the Tuscan tradition. We ate two very good first courses, a risotto with pears and taleggio and some insuperable ones tortelloni with ricotta and truffle (highly recommended). Then we took an excellent 1kg Florentine, all accompanied by the house wine, a very good Chianti. In order not to miss anything, we concluded the lunch with a succulent chocolate cheesecake.
The price, also considering the location of the tavern, is very affordable. They spend between € 25 and € 45 each depending on your preferences. Obviously the Florentine is what raises the costs. Important note, the portions of the dishes are always abundant, you will certainly not go out hungry.
The restaurant is open from 12.00 to 16.00 and from 19.00 to 23.00. It is preferable to book. Highly recommended.
