A truly impregnable event is the Pancake Day in London which takes place on 21 February. The event takes place on Shrove Tuesday, the race of crazy chefs through the streets of London, in Covent Garden to be exact, blowing their own pancakes.
How did the event start? It is said that the event was born when a lady while cooking her own pancakes at home hearing the church bells for confession is out in a hurry to go to church with pancakes still in the pot and to keep them from burning kept blowing them….running.
