Rotterdam has a truly diverse nightlife and there is no shortage of ways to have fun in this Dutch city. Even Lonely Planet has noticed this and has chosen to award some of its clubs / pubs as the best in the world.
Rotown is a very nice local restaurant divided into two parts. There restaurant part is at the back of the room. Here the atmosphere is very relaxed, with soft lights and an open kitchen. The tables are made of wood, there is a small one fireplace in the middle of the room and all around windows. Dutch food is quite tasty, fried and distinctive. In the other part of the room is the pub, where they often exist concerts also of famous groups, in short, a really interesting place to start the evening. From keep in mind: in Holland you eat relatively early, better not to arrive too late.
Il Tikis it is a very nice place even if totally foreign to the Rottedam atmosphere. Here a little bit of styles are mixed, there are African masks e Hawaiian environment, all in one 50s style. Many young people are found here and in the other clubs on the same street. Try one of the cocktail of the list.
Il Witte Aap It is one of award-winning bars and found by Lonely Planet. The venue is located in Rotterdam and is always full, even before it was named by LP as one of the best in the world. Here you get a lot of people from students to business people, that's what distinguishes the place from all the others, it does not have a preferential clientele.
