Just got back from Budapest I leave you this post to tell you about the apartment where I have been in the past few days. After receiving a "bin" less than 48 hours from departure by Hostel Budapest Center (due to an unidentifiable "unexpected technical problem") I booked one of the solutions proposed by Budapesting Apartments.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the studio Astoria Studio: here we had a small kitchen with everything you need, a microwave oven, a nice big shower, a washing machine, a hairdryer and towels. There position it was really perfect, very close to the Dohany Synagogue, a stone's throw from the bus stop metro 2 Astoria and convenient to reach all areas of the city on foot.
The apartment was not luxurious, but nothing was missing, it was clean Susie and son Peter they were really excellent hosts, they gave advice and solved every problem.
As for the price, we spent a total of three nights € 93 in all, by booking with Hostelbookers (thus managing to avoid the fee for arrivals after a certain time in the evening). On their site they are also offered discounts to couchsurfer and students (in this case the ISIC card) but I also want to tell you that the Tripadvisor page from which you can take advantage of a 30% discount
Il Budapesting website moreover, it can be an excellent source of information from which to organize your trip to the Hungarian capital.
