As mentioned in another post, I have recently been to Seville with friends to spend a fun weekend without worries.
I don't know about you but I'm aMojito lover, which is always cool, always partying and always summer. If you too are an admirer of this drink of Cuban origins, made up of a mix of rum (white or black), mint leaves, brown sugar and lime juice, there is a place where you should definitely drop by if you found near the beautiful Seville.
We discovered this place right away on Friday, minutes after checking into the hotel. We then headed to the Guadalquivir riverside, under the advice of a taxi driver, in Calle Betis in the Triana district precisely.
The restaurant, which is called “La Cucara Triana”, is a typical bar with tables and chairs outside that overlook the river with a splendid view of the Puente de Isabel II.
What convinced us to stop in the place was undoubtedly the artisan sign referring to the Mojito. Once seated we were greeted by a nice partly Cuban staff who offered us their highlight: the Mojito for € 4 and the super Mojito for € 6. Needless to say, they have easy feasts. And that cocktail was absolutely delicious, maybe a little strong. So I suggest you accompany it all with some very good tapas, such as the patatas bravas, the octopus and some spectacular fried fish that we practically devoured.
We liked it so much we went back the next night as well. Highly recommended.
