Helmut Newcake is a gastronomy patisserie in a small area on the outskirts of Paris. It is practically there first pastry shop gluten-free in France. Helmut Newcake is located at 36 Bichat Rue, a narrow street within walking distance of some of the city's historic gems. The patisserie is easily accessible from the center of Paris by metro. From Châtelet, one of the main hubs of the Metro, simply get on line 11 for Mairie des Lilas and get off at the Goncourt stop.
Once there you will be amazed at what they have to offer. There is a great selection of today's special of sweets, hot chocolate and Lemon Cheesecake. All of this is 100% gluten free. In addition to sweets the bakery also sells a small selection of gluten-free products such as pasta, breakfast cereals and flours.
The menu offers six or seven cakes to choose from. The opening hours are Monday - Saturday, from 12 to 21 and on Sunday from 10 to 18.
