How to get to the Keukenhof Park which is located 40 km from Amsterdam, Holland in the fastest and low cost way possible. The park is only open for two months a year, here's how to take advantage of it.
Keukenhof park, is the largest flower park in the world, an explosion of colors and scents. The park is open from mid-March to mid-May, (you can find the exact opening dates on the Official site) when of course the tulips are in bloom. Opening hours: 8.00-19.30 (it is worth taking advantage of the whole day given the size of the park, about 40 hectares).
The rest of the months the park is closed. So take advantage of it and go to Amsterdam during this time, it's just great, you won't regret it; the flowers put everyone in a good mood.

To Keukenhof Park by train
from Amsterdam station central just buy a train ticket destination Leiden , the train also passes by the city's main airport, Schipol. The cost of the ticket is around 15 euros arriving in Leiden in about 30 minutes. Surely the train is the fastest way to get there, even if once you get off the train you will have to reach the park with a bus number 54, (Keukenhof Express) in the small town of Lisse (about 30 minutes journey). The bus from Leiden station it runs twice an hour.
To Keukenhof Park by bus
Reach the park directly by bus, less fast, but more comfortable as it will take you right to the main entrance of the park. The cost is about 15 euros, with 50 minutes of travel. Entrance to the museum costs 12,50 euros. You can combine the bus ride with the entrance to the park, about 30 euros (data updated to 2016). You can avoid the queue and buy both tickets (bus + entrance) on the park's official website or via a second site (very simple even if written in English). Buying tickets is fast and safe and you can print them directly from your PC.
To Keukenhof Park by car
Obviously also with the machine you can reach the park via the A4 motorway and in about 40 minutes you are in Lisse. The park also enjoys large and numerous parking lots.
