La Royal Albert Hall it is one of the best known concert halls in the world. It is found at Kensington Gore and is open from November 1st to March 31st from 10.30 am to 15.30 pm and from April 31st to October 10.30st from 16.30 am to XNUMX pm for guided tours.
The Royal Albert Hall was conceived from Prince Albert in 1851 but following his death it was Henry Cole, one of his closest collaborators, who completed the work. Inspired by the structure of the Roman amphitheaters, in 1867 Queen Victoria laid the first stone of the work. The complex, built with approx six million red bricks and surmounted by a domed roof of iron and glass, it was inaugurated by the queen on 29 March 1871 and houses 5.500 spectators.
