Where is the venue
Here we are in Calvola. Are you wondering where it is? It's a small village in Trentino, precisely in the municipality of Tenno, about ten kilometers from Riva del Garda.
A place where time seems to have stopped. Where the gray stone houses come to life thanks to the wonderful colors of the geraniums and the splendid background Garda Lake makes the place look like a living picture.
How to get there
As I said, it is not far from the small town of Riva del Garda. Then take the winding road that climbs towards Tenno and pass the town.
Just before arriving at Ville del Monte turn right taking the signs for another splendid village, that of Tenno canal, and continue in the direction of Calvola.
Do not worry, you will find all the indications along the way, also because it is about villages among the most beautiful in Italy. Leave your vehicle right outside the town and here we are. A small staircase will take you right toAgritur Calvola.

The place is not very big. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Obviously on hot summer days I recommend that you ask for a seat on the splendid Terrace overlooking the lake and Riva, both to enjoy a bit of coolness and for the splendid view that the place offers.
Recommend for the evening: bring an extra shirt, as compared to the lake area it is a bit cooler, also because we are almost 600 meters above sea level.
What are we eating
We finally arrive at the reason that has pushed us this far. Of course, for the excellent cuisine! Here we eat typical Trentino and since it is a farmhouse the dishes are all homemade.
The dishes to choose from are not very many but I assure you that they are all really excellent. And having a limited choice makes it easier to decide what to enjoy.
Obviously, the appetizer cannot be missed. So let's get off to a great start with excellent mixed cold cuts and a good pickled vegetables, and apple and chicken salad.
And then away between first and second. I highly recommend the tagliatelle with "molche", which are the residues of the pressing of the olives. Besides being very good they are also a very typical dish of the area, since this area of Garda is very famous for the presence of olive trees.
Do you want to opt for a second course? Then polenta, melted cheese and "luganega" be.
I advise you to keep a place for desserts because they are all really good: Tiramisu, panna cotta and fruit cake. It will be a real challenge to choose what to end with.
Throughout the meal let yourself be accompanied by excellent wines, both white and red, strictly produced by them.
