THEAgriturismo Cà San Ponzio it is found at Vergne, a small hamlet of the most famous town of Barolo, in the heart of the Langhe. The structure was born from the recovery of an old farmhouse renovated by the brothers Maurizio and Luciano who personally welcome guests and immediately show great availability and kindness.
Le rooms proposals are different and can accommodate up to four people, each is independent and spacious: I stayed in a quadruple room (one double and two singles on the bright mezzanine) where nothing was missing, the bathroom was large, the heating could be adjusted inside and the door overlooked the balcony with a beautiful garden view. Prices start at just over 50 € for a double room single use, up to just over € 100 for a room of four.
La breakfast is not included, to be able to take advantage of the abundant buffet of cheeses, cakes, artisan jams (and much more!) you have to add between 6 and 8 €. Also not to be overlooked is the possibility of using the beautiful and characteristic wine cellar that offers every “bendidio” at any time.
La position of the farm is strategic for a tour in these areas and, as the managers also suggest, it is possible to reach the neighboring villages on foot or by bicycle, to fully enjoy the atmosphere of these lands.
