The restaurant al Pigno with Rosolotti di Sona, close Verona, is one of those addresses that once you try it you will never forget: for the price of a pizza you can eat a homemade menu, in a welcoming environment that in summer also has a very pleasant and fresh outdoor terrace, and with an always courteous service and careful.
The quantity of first on the menu it's embarrassing and they are all really delicious, I suggest you ask for an encore or a trio depending on how many you are at the table. Among my favorites the gnocchi with herbs, the macaroni with vodka and guinea fowl tagliatelle and chanterelles. For the second courses the specialty is the grigio, the mixed grigiata is excellent but the chicken is really special.
There is also a wide choice of side dishes (do not miss the fried onion rings) and to finish the desserts, which do not disappoint even them: try the bidonata, a dessert made with cream puff pastry and Chantilly cream that is really greedy. House wine water and final liqueur offered all for approx € 20 per person.
