THEAncient Coffee Spinnato, is one of the oldest of Palermo, a central venue located in the Palermo area well. The coffee is divided into two parts, one dedicated to the direct sale of sweets, coffee and so on and another dedicated to "catering", both inside and out.
The Antico Caffè is in fact one nice pedestrian there. A wide street of shops, where no cars or motorbikes pass but there are only beautiful shop windows and many vases of flowers and plants for sale. Here under the blue awnings of the Antico Caffè are the coffee tables. If it's a nice day I recommend that you get served, but be careful what you take. If, on the other hand, you want to run a little and want to save a little… don't sit down!
An aperitif here is just under € 8, a spritz well done and an arancina, however, even at this price, can be worth the state of absolute peace and relaxation that you will hardly find in other areas of the city. If you are lucky you will also find the famous pianist that every now and then, right between the tables outside, sweet and gentle music is played for the customers.
Also highly recommended for a good coffee and a cannoli which is only € 0.80 at the counter.
