In my weekend in Trieste, kissed by an almost summer sun, I had the opportunity to try some local aperitifs.
So, after a careful study, I suggest you take a trip toAqvedotto Caffè which is located on what Trieste people call more generically "Viale", or Viale XX Settembre, at number 37 / C.
It is one of the many spaces with outdoor areas located on this avenue dedicated to the aperitif time. A'infinity of students and no more students flock to this boulevard from 20pm until 00am. The space is quite interesting, the particular chairs outside are beautiful, and the interior of the room, decidedly refined and with design details. Inside the bar, just before the bathrooms, you can also find a black lacquered sculpture in the shape of a horse in life size, it will be impossible not to notice it. The bathrooms are also designer.
The counter then offers some ideal treats for breakfast as well sandwiches and wraps to accompany your drink. The Spritz St Germaine is excellent, white but with elderberry liqueur (St. Germaine in fact). Try it.
The Aqvedotto is open every day.
