A city that looks like a country, the Marche hills that frame and the art that hides in the inner courtyards of its noble palaces: Macerata it was a nice discovery this hot summer. And after a successful summer opera season, the city reopens its doors to culture with the third edition of Macerata Ospitale Festival.
The review, curated byAdam Macerata Academy of Arts, lasts throughout the month of September, from 6 to 30, and has a full calendar of events full of guests and events. Exhibitions, debates, theatrical performances, readings and concerts will revive the places of the city and the province, giving new life not only to the many museums, theaters and exhibition galleries in the area, but also to entire neighborhoods and public spaces. A qualification of the territory that passes through the noble arts: poetry, painting, dance and song mix giving rise to enchanting evenings.
Only a few anticipation: Rino Tommasi, on 13 September, journalist, presenter and sports commentator, Cristiano Godano, leader of Marlene Kuntz, on 23, Silvano Agosti, director, screenwriter, producer, writer and poet, on 28 September and Yves Lebreton, actor and theater director of French cult will close the festival on the 30th. There will also be exhibitions, concerts and book presentations.
The events, except for some shows and the night dinner at the castle with a guided tour (20 euros), will be completely free.
I chose the weekend of September 8 attracted by a singular show, TU_TWO performance for 6 spectators inside a Renault Kangoo, followed by dinner at the castle: an interesting idea for a weekend in September dedicated to art.
