For the first time I decided to take advantage of an offer on Groupon. Not to buy a shoe or the latest fashion item, but to go out to eat. So we bought a coupon several months ago for a fish dinner at Molo 22 in Rimini and booked a table, through the Mytable.it website. Not only. Just to put them to the test, we also highlighted some needs such as the position of the table and particular attention that the dishes did not contain 'shellfish', at least for those who accompanied me.
I must say that I was really lucky not only for the location of the place, on the dock of the Darsena di Rimini, but also for the clear sky, the colors of the sunset and a sea that looked like a table. So the ingredients for a good evening were all there.
So there is nothing to complain about the location, and not even about eating for the quality and quantity of food. I'm not a great connoisseur of seafood, but by now I understand if those who offer me a service are not doing their job. And I tour a lot of clubs for work.
The coupon had a value of 161 €, and thanks to the offer I have barely paid 39 € for two cold appetizers, two hot mussels and clams, a tagliolino with seafood, a spaghetti alla chitarra with clams, a mixed fried and a plate with two cuttlefish skewers, a sole, a sea bass and a monkfish. Water and a sparkling house wine, in addition to the accompanying piadina. To conclude, two sorbets.
Do we want to find something about the service? No sorry. Our waiter, in addition to always being attentive despite a nice full place, was nice and quick.
Therefore I am happy to have tried Groupon on such a delicate subject as… eating.
