Torino it is a city that I love very much. Maybe I was dating someone, maybe I underestimated her not to say I didn't consider, before arriving there by chance. But leaving days gone by, last May I decided to go back for a concert I was very fond of, which was Coldplay's at the Olympic Stadium.
So, after asking for a day off from work, I wanted to look for a comfortable, cheap accommodation in the center to stay a couple of days in Turin. After a deep research in the maze of booking.it and also considering the period not exactly low season, I found the solution for me. At that time there were concurrently a series of events in Turin that meant that the places available in the hotel / b & b were few and expensive. However, I found the perfect B&B, practically a private apartment in the historic center. This is the B&B Casa Cavour in Via Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour 10, crossroads of Via Roma and a step away from Porta Nuova station.
Chicca, the B&B does not provide breakfast inside, the agreement with the Cremeria ten meters from the door of the building. In this way, breakfast becomes a pleasant moment of reading the newspaper in the sun accompanied by a delicious cappuccino with brioches of your choice, in one of the most historic streets of the city.
Aside from the spectacular concert I attended at the Stadium, I highly recommend this B&B for that 45 € per night provides you with a private apartment in a perfect location on the shopping street where in three minutes on foot you can be in the beautiful and suggestive Piazza Castello. Go and visit Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Madama, you will be amazed.
