Breakfast at the Bindi confectionery shop

Breakfast at the Bindi confectionery shop

At the Bindi confectionery shop in San Giuliano Milanese, the phrase “directly from the producer to the consumer” is very true.

Inside an industrial warehouse (in the same area where IKEA is located) owned by the well-known pastry and ice cream brand for catering, the production processes take place and an area open to the public and intended for the administration of food and drink. By promoting this very current business idea, the company has managed to reduce the distance between the final consumer and the producer, inviting him to his home and providing him not only with a bar area where he can consume sweet and even savory delicacies, prepared ad hoc for breakfasts, lunch breaks and Sunday brunches, but also a company shop in which to get supplies at advantageous prices.

Open the front door, you feel the strong, inviting and cheeky perfume of the delights exhibited at counter which, I am not exaggerating, will be at least 10 meters long, the eyes then fall on the futurist-inspired walls and on the furnishings, both well-finished, young and refined for style and combination. At sight black and white predominate, well proportioned and occasionally interrupted by natural colors such as the green of the numbered plants placed on each table, the cream and ocher color to identify the bakery area, the yellows and reds of the apples in boxes which the fruit corner was dedicated.

A different breakfast every day is even possible thanks to the various proposals of Bindi Dolci Caffè: cakes, muffins, traditional croissants, fresh cakes, fruit tarts and even sweet or savory focaccia, toast, etc. declined in several variants so as to really satisfy even the most disparate need. And while you take it easy you can also surf for free thanks to Wifi connection made available to customers.

As there is no table service if you are in a hurry, and there is a queue at the counter, there is always the possibility to divert to the shop (you enter from the same entrance), retrieve packaged sweets and biscuits and a lot of confectionery ideas from the world, especially in this pre-Christmas month and go!

Unfortunately I could not take pictures of the interiors because they did not allow me, so I suggest you look at the official photos published on tripadvisor.
