A Marsala there are many nice places to eat well and drink better. I tried The Rooster and the In Love and I was pleasantly surprised. The local, or rather, the Osteria is a Slow Food presidium and offers a lot of goodness that I will now go to list, as well as of course the local wines which, let's face it, are all excellent!
Among the starters here are the fillets of breaded fish with a reduction of D'Avola wine, busiate with shrimp, tomato and almonds but also the smoked fish arancini. I didn't dare to take the second, but I tasted the Sicilian cannoli, not too big but not very small either. I would remain the cannoli even now and then immediately after the busiate. Very kind staff who also explained the history of the name of the Osteria which is the name of the painting by a famous local artist.
Inside the Osteria many paintings that recall the rooster and also many paintings on Marsala. A beautiful environment not far from the historic center of the city of Marsala.
