The review of Gelateria Cavour, the best ice cream of Otranto in Salento, because it is artisanal and with many different flavors, suitable for everyone, read the post.
Summer has officially arrived and, once again, one of the most popular places to spend the holidays seems to be the Salento. Its crystalline sea and ancient villages rich in history and traditions make this place the most sought after destination to spend your summer holidays in the name of relaxation, fun and even culture. One of the most famous places in Salento is Otranto, located in the far south on the Adriatic coast. Being Otrantina I can only be proud of it and today I would like to give an advice to those who will spend their summer holidays in the wonderful Otranto.
Now tell me: what is the best way to beat this heat if not to eat a good ice cream? Here, today I want to talk about the best ice cream shop in Otranto. This is not just any ice cream parlor, but one homemade ice cream parlor, where you can be one hundred percent sure that you are in front of a genuine product. I'm talking about Cavour ice cream parlor.
Cavour ice cream parlor takes its name from the square that hosts it, in the historic center of Otranto, and was born in June 2012 from a project by Francesco Fisotti, the master ice cream maker, who works with the aim of proposing a homemade ice cream, tasty and genuine, created using only high quality products and fresh fruit of the season.
Despite being a young company, Cavour ice cream parlor has already conquered many people and tries to amaze its customers continuously by always offering new and diversified products. This is possible only thanks to the continuous study of the ice cream master Francesco.
Talking about the specialties of Gelateria Cavour is really complicated for me, because they are many and able to satisfy the most disparate tastes. In addition to the "classic" and "chocolaty" flavors, you will find many novelties. Do you want some examples? You will find the cherry sorbet or figs; soy hazelnut, mojito or sheep's milk ricotta ice cream with caramelized figs; artisanal slushes with mulberry trees (mulberries are, so to speak, a kind of blackberry, but unlike this they are born on trees and are grown mainly in the South); there Coffee Mousse; personalized milkshakes.
Living outside, Gelateria Cavour is a fixed stop every time I go home and personally my favorite products are coffee mousse and ice cream with hazelnut, pistachio, biscuit and bounty flavors.
If this summer you will be in Otranto I highly recommend you to go to Gelateria Cavour and taste its products. Let me know which are your favorites!
