La Chapel of the Madonna of Vitaleta it has a name that perhaps will tell you nothing or a little more, but it is actually that little church in Tuscany that at least once in your life you will have seen everyone in some photos. This small church scattered in the Tuscan countryside has been made famous by the many photos that have been taken of it over the years, but what is known about this church? Here it is.
The chapel of the Madonna di Vitaleta is located on a dirt road that leads from Pienza to San Quirico d'Orcia in the Province of Siena and is protected by UNESCO.
From it comes the statue of the Madonna attributed to Andrea della Robbia, now in the church of the Madonna di Vitaleta, which is said to have been purchased in 1553 in a workshop in Florence. In reality there are not many things that are known about this church but we are happy to be able to give you the information on where it is exactly so that you too can spend there, maybe one day, and take a beautiful souvenir photo of your trip to Tuscany.
