The last morning of mine trip to Trapani I did breakfast from Colicchia. Now that I know what it's like to have breakfast at Pasticceria Colicchia I would have eaten my hands if I hadn't been able to do it. The pastry shop is located in via delle Arti, 8, practically in the center of the city and currently the structure that houses it is undergoing external renovation, so look closely, you will still find a nice sign that will show you the entrance.
Colicchia is a rather simple pastry bar, the interior also leaves a little to be desired but as soon as you are seated and ordered a granita you will understand why of this post.
I took one, as you can see in the photo coffee granita with cream and a warm and soft brioches. I didn't think it was so good to have breakfast with granita, since I have always seen granita as a drink in the afternoon / evening and instead I had to change my mind. A real treat for the palate. If you pass by the parts of Trapani do not miss for anything in the world Colic, you will not regret it.
